Pippa Cooper is the research assistant for the project. Pippa joined the Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York in 2015 where she works as the coordinator of the Centre's Human Rights Defender Hub.

Pippa has a BA in Modern Languages (French and Spanish), an MA in Human Rights and is currently a PhD student in the Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of London.
